Experience early Wabash County with

Remembering the Past at Rose Hill Cemetery

October 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. Tickets $10 and $5 for kids.

Cemeteries are places filled with memories, mostly of loved ones and friends.  The stones, plain or ornate, mark the site of someone’s earthly remains who wanted to be remembered or whose family wanted to remember. But what about all those other stones, those other people you never knew or those who died so long ago that the memories are almost gone?  Who will remember them?
Come for a walk through Rose Hill Cemetery with volunteers from the Wabash County Museum to hear stories from Wabash County’s past of people, both prominent and humble who helped to shape the community that we know today.
The walk will take place Sunday October 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery located at 9th and Plum Streets.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for those under 18 and will be sold under the tent at the cemetery.  Small groups will guide themselves to the marked graves where they will hear the stories of the past.
Let’s keep remembering.
